For All the Saints

Many are the saints who over the course of generations have worshiped
and served God at Mt. Hope. Two cemeteries serve the congregation as
final resting places for those who have departed this earthly life to
join the Church Triumphant. "For all the saints who from their labors
rest..."

Up on the side of the bluff next to the church, sheltered among the tall
trees, is Mt. Hope Cemetery. This cemetery was laid out in 1871. The
land for the church and cemetery was donated by Benjamin Ratcliffe.

A couple of miles up the valley from the church is English Bench
Cemetery. The earliest burial was in 1858. The land for this cemetery
was originally part of the William Money Sadler farm.
